Verizon: Share America

Verizon approached the McGarryBowen social team to create something engaging and share able for the 2012 holiday season. Our response was a cross country lip syncing tour that would engage the public to join us in creating a 3000 mile lip sync video for the holidays.

Our team came up with the idea of a road trip across the country. The senior creative team along with motion foundry, shot and edited the videos as they traveled across the states  capturing dozens of americans lip syncing to a new take on the classic carol, “jingle bell rock,” re-recorded by hot chelle rea.

One of the most successful verizon social videos at the time – having more than 1.2 million views, the most positive sentiment from it’s audience, and was an important piece of content that eventually led to the acquisition of agency of record for the entire social business.
